The Game
Every Pirate Has a Price.
YARGH! drops 3 to 6 players onto a shared sea of opportunity and treachery. Each player controls a pirate crew with a hidden agenda — accumulate enough treasure to retire in luxury, or be the last crew standing when the dust settles.
The heart of the game is negotiation. Every round, players broker deals, form temporary alliances, and make promises they may or may not keep. The catch: there's no enforcement. Your word is worth exactly as much as the other players believe it is.
Rounds are fast and chaotic. Treasure changes hands. Ships get sunk. Alliances collapse at the worst possible moment. And somehow, it always ends with everyone laughing.
How to Play
Simple to Learn. Impossible to Trust.
Deal the Cards
Each player receives a hand of Action cards and a secret Agenda card. Your Agenda tells you how to win — but you're not required to share it.
Negotiate Freely
Before playing cards, players negotiate openly. Promise treasure, offer protection, threaten retaliation. Deals are verbal — nothing is binding.
Play Your Cards
Everyone plays Action cards simultaneously. Attacks, defenses, thefts, and sabotage all resolve at once. Alliances may or may not survive contact with the cards.
Count the Plunder
Treasure is redistributed based on the round's outcome. Check victory conditions. If no one has won, deal new cards and start the chaos again.
